e-Governance @ Urban Local Bodies – ABM MAINet®

ABM believes that Citizens are one of the most  significant stake holders of  E-governance .An independent study conducted by ABM in year 2000 has shown that ,on an average a citizen needs around 300 services from different agencies like Tax Authorities, Utility Companies, District Administration, Municipal bodies etc. ABM has since then developed solutions and strategies in some of these domains like District Administration (Setu®), Utility Companies (ABM CFC®), and Municipal Corporations (ABM MAInet ®) etc .We have experienced that these are some of the toughest areas to computerize keeping in view the age old practices and various interests  built around the same.

ABM has dominated the domain of providing citizen centric e-governance to municipal bodies in India since over a decade. ABM has the distinction of providing sustained solutions and strategies to municipal bodies having annual  Budgets ranging from INR 50Crs ( US $12 Mn) to INR 17,000Crs(US $4 Billion) and having population size ranging from 0.2 Mn to 15 Mn .  ABM has pioneered the concept of Citizen facilitation centers (ABM CFC®) for delivering Time Bound Civic services to  the citizens by carrying out pragmatic BPRs in municipal services. As on end 2007, ABM boasts of more than 100 CFCs only in one state, which have delivered more than 4.5 Mn transactions in last year alone.

  • ABM MAINet® -  Successfully implemented at KDMC in September 2002 and operational for the last 6 years, rendering various services to the citizens
  • Related IT Services (Customization, Implementation, Training, Post-Implementation Support Services).

Some Achievements :

  • Several Municipal Bodies in Maharashtra have already implemented this award winning solution ABM MAINet®& ABM CFC®     
  • Govt. of Maharashtra has taken a decision of replicating this solution in all the 245 Municipal Bodies in Maharashtra.(MRD : Link to  GR)
  • The solution has been shortlisted for further empanelment by Govt. of India after undergoing stringent process for Quality Certification by STQC – Govt of India’s Premier Quality Certification Institution. ABM MAINet® is in the fore-front in the proposed list of empanelled software solutions. The advantage here is that when the Government of India decides to provide funds for establishing e-governance in all Urban Local Bodies in India, the empanelled products will get preference.
  • Integration with GIS ,PDAs etc

    ABM is one of the very few companies in India which offers such comprehensive and proven E-gov solutions for Municipal Bodies covering vital depts. in an integrated manner E.g.   • Evolve model for Private Public Participation for implementation of this solution on Build-Own-Operate-Transfer basis (BOOT) to improve market penetration
  • Evolve ASP model for implementation of this solution in Data Center for access to multiple users through dedicated connectivity
